Excellent news!

Some of you might have already heard this, some of you might not:

Before Rome there was Mack Murphy & The Inmates. Some songs were later redone as Rome tracks.

Huh. Ianva has gone all dark! We'll see how this one turns out but they've been working on the album for years. No italian 40's stuff here.. but I'm ordering as soon as I can.

Cyclopean Eye Productions is proud to unveil a brand new track titled 'EXPEDITION TO TIBET' off the upcoming BELL debut album along with it's stunning artwork! Taking Tangerine Dream as a starting point and adding influences from power electronics and ambient music, Bell is a ritual and at times attains a level of spirituality rarely heard in this genre. A limited run of Tapes will be released on September 1st, 2017 and will be followed by CD and LP format releases. Artwork created by the master Horth Sick/Secret Shelter Design!

I've listened the new Ianva a few times since it came out and while at first I didn't know what to make of the darker, more straightforward approach, it eventually started to click just like La Mano Di Gloria. This new one has a more... apocalyptic atmosphere, perhaps? The previous albums were all about that Italian 40s pop noir/classical/dark cabaret, so I was naturally expecting more of that.

I mean this is good, or what do you think?

Yes. Good. I have really enjoyed their output, listening to their various releases regularly over the last few years. I enjoy "neo folk", and the teutonic strain has reigned for decades now with multitudes of solid releases/bands. I feel Ianva offer a refreshing perspective while still tapping into the primordial root of European heritage/experience. I have never been disappointed with any of their output, and this new album shows that they are more than capable of simultaneously switching gears and offering up fantastic folk.

I've ordered the last IANVA CD today. I'll try not to forget giving feedback.

Dropping by to say the new Àrnica album is absolutely killer! Such a great album, been spinning it a lot lately. Had the chance to catch them live at the Entremuralhas fest in Leiria, the new songs are a great fit for live settings.

Thanks for the heads up! I stopped checking daily a month ago after this was initially announced for... last year? Glad I didn't miss this.

Didn't see any limitation in the description. I wonder if it'll see US distribution...
