Yea, they broke up. A Silver Mt. Zion is a full-time thing now. Check out Set Fire To Flames if you don't know of them already.

i have one A Silver Mt Zion album on CD and only played it once. i think i ought to play it again. i swear i read somewhere once GSYBE were just on "extended hiatus"...

maybe it's good they've fully broken up, i mean, can it get any better?

that godspeed band is total emo worship. my 'emo' friend from college loved them. i hated it, could never get into it.

is there certain stuff they have that is good or that is dark or something? I have yet to hear it. the stuff he played me was popular amongst the skinny emo kids wearing spike belts and hanging out at mccormicks in new brunswick. blechhh not my scene

check out the first album, F# A#

spose the emos got into it because it is considered "post rock"...

Anyone know whats happening with Crucifire from Geelong, Australia?

Long overdue: Sargatanas, Vomitor, Cauldron Black Ram, Martire, Destroyer 666.

Also look forward to any new stuff from Nocturnal Graves, Ares Kingdom, Pentacle and a full length by Ignivomous.
Edit: forgot to add Funerary Pit to the waiting for list.

No idea about Crucifire, but The Cauldron black Ram album has been completed as far as I know, and Vomitor's "Devils poison" is well underway. The Ignivomous full-length is about three-quarters done now too.

Great to hear. Looking forward tremendously to holding these in my hands & seeing them spinning on my turntable. No need to hear samples before purchasing any of these!

Yeah I've been hanging out for the LP version too. I know that some label was going to press this on wax. It's been so long that I can't remember exactly who it was or if it's still happening. Anyone?

Apocalyptor Prod. was supposed to release it (together with an Armoured Angel 2-LP, Denial Of God/Abysmal Grief - Split 10", Throneum Demo LP, Throneum / Morbosidad - Split 7", Nunslaughter - Metal Assault on Melbourne Live 10").

P.S.: Also Decius Prod. announced an Entasis LP which is sadly missed.

Isn't the 1st CBR LP due out any day on Parasitic?
That Entasis cd suffers from awful sound/production if I recall correctly

Yeah, but Parasitic posted this months ago, so any day could mean any month...

"Finally a new release will be unleashed, PR24, a kult peice of obskure death metal from Austrailia, CAULDRON BLACK RAM "Skulduggery" lp. Pressing of 1,000 on 180 gram vinyl in gatefold sleeve.
I have the covers, just waiting for the vinyl to arrive. "

Yes, Parasitic (from Oregon?) was who I was trying to remember. Hopefully they make it happen soon. Real sad that all those planned Apocalyptor releases might be lost to us...

Holy fuck, I never though I would see someone mention New Brunswick in NWN forums of all places. I used to live in that shithole of a province in the town of Woodstock for many years. Too many racist cunts, drunk natives, meatheads, and other useless subhumans there in that town.

Wait, disregard what I said. I just realized New Brunswick is a city in New Jersey. Oops.
