You could basically say this is a new Moonblood album, it even has old Moonblood tracks on it.
It's pretty damn good, Gaamalzagoth's vocals haven't skipped a beat since the 90s. I was wondering why no one had talked about this, maybe because it's not called Moonblood?

A cute touch with this one I noticed, Gaamalzagoth called his drum machine "Wolfen" Very Happy

There is also a new Album from the pre-Moonblood band: Demoniac.

I haven't had a chance to hear the whole album yet but of course we also have obvious Moonblood sound here as well.

Both albums self released by the man himself: http://misanthrophia-discos.blogspot.de/

It's that first riff on the second track, I was waiting for it to sound "dark" but it didn't.

Someone posted a thread about this not to long ago, it even had mention whether this was a drum machine or not which as far as I can tell from my lp it's definitely a real drummer.

Great lp, Moonblood song on the new album is a gem. Epic medieval black metal at it's finest. Good to see there are still some die hard and dedicated maniacs from the old underground German black metal scene still making music that is just as strong as it was in the 90's.

Yeah I don't even bother with it any more, some times just doing a google search for threads with a 'nwn' attached provides better results then using the search function built into the forum.

Anyone possibly heard when the Demoniac might be put out on vinyl?

Perfect timing. Moonblood has had my full attention over these last few months.

Azaxul LP sounds quite bad compared to the CD. Not really sure what happened with it. CD sounds great.

Need to listen to more Demoniac one.

That was me. For whatever reason I just thought the drums sounded programmed.

Album is still growing on me a bit. It has a way to go to catch up to Horned Furies. Very interested to hear the Demoniac.

Azaxul album doesn't have real drums. It's programmed as Gaamalzagoth stated when asked. Wolfen is a homage for Varathron.

Same with Demoniac. Programmed.

The two Demoniac songs I have heard so far are great.

Azaxul album is great. Better than the Mini in my opinion. Just received the Demoniac CD, still need to hear it.
