Is "From the Depths of Hell" bootleg worth it? Local record shop is selling it for 20-25 euros.

A bootleg is only worth what you think it's worth. Myself, I try to stay away from that stuff unless it's something that I know will never be pressed again and I can't live without it.

I'm quite interested in it, so might grab it with me next time...

Had to put Into The Unknown on to my turntable! Yup, still kicking ass.

Hm. I haven't bothered with anything after the fist two. Might have to change that. Seeing a lot of votes for Time and I've been seeing that LP all over the place in stores here.

Time is completely worth buying. It really is that damn good.

Just bought Time. Waiting for it to arrive.

Don't Break the Oath is my undisputed favorite, but I've probably listened more to Time than Melissa. I used to watch that "Witches' Dance" video all the time when I was a teenager because they looked so cool playing those vintage guitars haha. Everybody played with Ibanez, B.C. Richs, ESPs and Jacksons during that era.

Bumping my old thread. The later albums rule and all Fate maniacs should worship them in their own way.

And I have seen the Angel Of Light
I have seen the Angel Of Light... Lucifer

I don't get the hate either, all their records are great, just as with King Diamond. The mlp and first 2 are obviously the absolute highlights, but the rest is solid to great. I'd say in the Shadows comes third with Time close on it's heels.

I sold my soul TO THE DEVIL HIS DUE.

All MF albums (and KD for that matter) are awesome. In the Shadows is closest to the spirit of the first two LPs and would be my choice.

I like them all but would put Time at the top of the list, and Dead Again at the bottom.

I can see why most people pick In the Shadows. It is the last album to feature the original four members so the musicianship is quite strong and the whole album flows really well. Is it definitely a storytelling album and lines up with what King Diamond was doing in his solo project.

Time and 9 bring back that campy, devil aspect that the first two albums showcased so well.

Into The Unknown is the most underrated in my opinion. There are some gems on that thing if one really listens.
