Hey, anyone know what dates/venues have been confirmed for the Bone Awl tour? I can't find anything on the Klaxon site. I'm curious mostly about the west coast leg. Will def. try to make it to a Bay Area show....

Is there any chance of them coming to Canada? Sad

Annick, the bass player of the new band I am in knows them well. We are going to try and just do Toronto and Montreal with them. Providing they are OK with crossing the border I don't see why it wont happen.

I hear crossing the border into Canada is shit for bands these days, especially if they're carrying CDs/records/merch (likely).

That would explain why bands like Krisiun, Watain, etc do not carry their vinyl albums and much of their CD's. They've been carrying mostly t-shirts and hoodies to their shows and that's it.

Even that can be risky. If the border guards see a ton of identical shirts with band logos on them you could be in for a hassle as well... fucking Canadian musicians' union is a real bitch!

Man, you just say that you are going recording an album at a studio in Canada and bringing some merch to give free at a few radio stations or something. It's as simple as that.

Crossing the US/CAN border is very random, but the risks can be minimized if you prepare accordingly.

I've crossed the border to play shows many times and have only been denied once due to circumstances way beyond our control. We've had our van full of gear and merch searched over and still let through.

"Why do you have 45 shirts of the same design?"

"We just love that band."

"Alright then."

It would rule to get Bone Awl up here. We'll have to see what unfolds.

If they're coming to Montreal, I would do anything to come to their show as I fucking love Bone Awl too much. Now, only if I can find a way to the bus station due to the fucking bus transit strike here in Ottawa.

I'm sure you'll be able to find someone else that wants to go to the gig that could give you a lift at the same time... I believe there are a few other Bone Awl fans in Ottawa.

Are they coming through the West Coast/South West? We don't get any good bands anymore down here in Arizona.

Please email the band directly as I have nothing to do with the tour. I'm only promoting it on the site to help out.
