|
|
"Molested news: we hope to be going to press by the end of February. Dan Swano is handling the remastering of both Blod-draum and Stormvold and Travis Smith is working on the layout for us. The video footage we were hoping to include has been scrapped and replaced by the inclusion of both Molested demos. Oystein is remastering these to bring the sound quality up a little. With the addition of these demos, we are presenting the entire Molested catalog in this release. We may also be the exclusive North American distributor of the vinyl version, due out in March. More details on that as they are solidified."
Sounds like both vinyl and CD should be here in mid-March, and personally I am very happy about getting the demos instead of video footage. This should be a great reissue. |

They announced the new art a loooong time ago. That image was posted to their site almost a year ago I think. It's OK to me - not great, but I wasn't a big fan of the original art either. I'd love to see a real painter take on that general idea, but I suppose most good painters would rather work with an original idea than do a remake for a reissue. |

I'm looking forward to this. I don't like the original artwork much so it's not a big deal (and for the most part artwork changes don't matter to me). |

Good news about the demos being included instead of video extras. I never watch that stuff even with bands I like (Though I can only think of 2 I own by bands I care about - Archgoat and Cohhed & Cambria).
EDIT: and the Carcass - Reek reissue but didn't watch that one either. Just wanted the demo. |
