I know this is not music related, but I know that many of you will find this interesting.... It's about time to have a documentary like this. This must be first of it's kind, at least within this scale.

So has anyone seen this already? Bill Maher is a pretty funny guy, check out his interviews. He doesnt call himself agnostic nor atheist, but rationalist.

Could be interesting. "Zeitgeist" as well as "Virus Of Faith" were indeed great documentaries about (anti)religion.

there's also loose change which is mostly on 9/11 but there's blue beam project.

Blue beam project part 1 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkpT-gSSS54

part 2 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtwjZQlrw2Y&feature=related

blue beam is mostly about how the government gonna use technology to fool religious people and brain wash them among other things

Also for documentaries in the vain of Zeitgeist Addendum a must see is "EndGame, Blueprint For Global Enslavement" as well as "The Corporation"

Saw this at an independent theatre close to my house. Maher is funny, smart, and can cleverly interrogate the most "respected" of these individuals. If you hold strong feelings against religions, you should probably check this out.

I think Zeitgeist is a whole lot of shit on New World Order, Ufos and 911.

But Religulous is very good. I liked it.

Zeitgeist is the biggest, most hilarious piece of shit I've ever seen (and I LIKE consipiracy theories!) - I thought it was a parody until I got on the website....

I wouldn't be surprised if Zeitgeist is actually some new branch of christianity. After watching the 2nd installment especially I really started getting the same impressions as every other christian story warning of a one world government, the number of the beast however they only warn of the microchip in the documentry without the mystical attachments to it.

If it was not for the first half on the first film making mention of how all religions are the same and it's been the same version of a story copied off each other for centuries... but when I really think about it that would fit an enlightened christians perspective perfectly.
A new age christian could easily adapt the concept that the same god and his son jesus were behind all those concepts and still be christian etc etc

I think I really have to watch them again, and see if the notion fits. Cause now that I'm thinking about it this seems like a brilliantly new tactic for some brand new christian movement offering a version of christianity that removes some of the closed minded medieval time's traps in logic and is willing to stretch the concept further to draw in the modern thinking man. If I remember outright it debunks the earthly design of religions and churchs, but not outright god at all.

Anyone have the pleasure of catching one of those 'Left Behind' christian propaganda films about the end times ?
Simpsons spoofed it with that episode, Left Below. Cool

Anyways, the rapture comes that they all beleive right, the goodly christians vanish right out of their clothes into heaven or some shit. I've always wondered how a collective of people so afraid of revealing their bodies on earth came to accept an ending of life pulled stark naked to wherever they go.
With their fear and revulsion of their own sexual identities I wonder what that gathering will be like when all these folk that spent their whole life ashamed of their forms and hiding under clothing will be like when they are dropped full on naked into a large gathering waiting for jesus to drop by and say hello.
