during the infamous visit to Turkey by Mayhem in 1990 for the show in Izmir, Necrobutcher became quick fond of "Lokum", more colloqually known as "turkish delight"
upon returning home to Norway, he would spend weekends at farmer's markets as far away as Telemark in search of these delicious treats to satiate his ravenous sweet tooth

Why not have someone from Turkey send him a few boxes?

apparently at that time in Europe, fake turkish delight dusted with the devil's talcum was used to move product into Scandinavian by some of the biggest mediterranean cocaine cartels, so it was very tough to import

Oh fuck Laughing I think you are thinking of Hamnasnas MCD which was never recorded.

I'll see if I can dig up the source.

I also remember hearing about it as a canceled (because Sir Luttinen left?) MCD.

They were in the studio setting up and fight erupted between Jarva and Kimmo. Kimmo left the band as result and Hamnasnas was never recorded. Some of the material can be heard on Isänmaa and Legenda.

Sorgens Kammer is stolen from some game.

Karcharoth’s mission to kill Fenriz is one of the best/funniest black metal stories.

Details on both can be read on metal archives.

"Sorgens Kammer" from Dimmu Borgir's Stormblast was actually stolen from a video game called "Agony". The album's intro was also stolen from Magnum's "Sacred Hour".

All of Mayhem's Latin album titles are incorrect (De Mysteriis, Mediolanum, Ordo)

Satyricon's "Mother North" can be heard (and seen) in the movie "Spun"

- Hellhammer's old Pearl Super Pro GLX drum kit was used in the recording of several of the black metal classics made at Grieghallen Studios. It is now owned by Frost.

Does anybody have photographs taken at Magus Wampyr Daoloth's Molon Lave Recording Studio/Storm Studios?

Is it true that IG Farben, who released Absurd’s Asgardsrei, actually was cover for No Colours Records?
