Can anyone vouch for these? I still use CDrs to play music when driving to work or where ever and hate the fact they scratch and fuck up after a few days or weeks of playing.

Maybe use a CD player outside of the car stereo? Something you can plug in the cigarette lighter thing.

Just put them in cases after you're done. I've had the same CDRs in my car for years without having major issues. I just toss them after they start to skip.

A lot of CDRs that skip in stereos will be fine in computer drives. So sometimes if I notice something deteriorating I make a new copy.

that's because:
a) computer cd-roms have error correction
b) cd-rs tend to die, sometimes after 2 years if you bought a shitty brand

get Taiyo Yuden cd-rs, they'll live for a long time.

Someone should release stuff using something like the old SNES cartridges. Those things are near invincible.

Sony tried that with mini disks but failed due to lack of demand.

I still have my mini disc player, and it was destructable. I had to replace mine three times due to it failling on me... (good think I had a waranty!) On top of it, the cartridges were always fucked up. I still use it for interviews, but overall it was a bad invention haha.

I think it also depends on which Mini Disk player you get. They still sell them in Japan.

I think that's only a problem with the regular NES games.

The primary issue with the NES blinking on and off by the way is the oxidation of the 72 pin (located inside the machine) which connects the cart's motherboard with the console so it can play. You can buy new & vastly higher quality 72 pins off eBay and reinstall a fresh one to get your old machine to work right.

Sorry, old time NES junky here. Twisted Evil Only stick-em-ins are real.

i think most cdr's can take quite some scratch, but they cant take much heat, and it's probably really hot in your regular car stereo...
