I never liked Leger Des Heils. I had some of the Ultra limited stuff (bad collecting habits...) but sold it. Sounds too cheap to me. But yes, might go in a direction that is searched for.

Wrong.

Check out the Der Sieg Des Lichtes... album immediately.

Personally, I really like nearly everything Albin released.
Also the new stuff.
Id Also recommend this Album, but especially The Track Of The Hunted, When All Else Fails... and The Pleasures Received In Pain.
An interesting fact is, that the Death In June Album Take Care And Control consists of Music that has originally been recorded, or at least planed, as a late Moon Lay Hidden Album.
Indeed, both DI6 Albums which contains Music from Albin are very good and should be listened to when searching for that particularly Sound.

Moon Lay Hidden / Der Blutharsch (even the new hippie rock) are some of the best of the neofolk scene in my opinion. So much of it is cheesedick wankery used as a medium for traditionalist imagery and thought. AKA aesthetic > the music.

Can anyone tape me some The Moon Lay Hidden Beneath A Cloud records? I don't want to spend stupid amounts of money on discogs for the original pressings and I don't download. Thanks!

Total worship here!

Out of curiosity, does anybody own that live bootleg LP? Any good? Does it contain just the audio of one of the two (awesome) full live videos that appeared on YouTube around 2016?

Yep. It's also much better than the s/t debut imo.

Old TMLHBAC rules.

Der Sieg des Lichtes... is the best DB album BUT you have to have the 5x7" version with different tracks. Premium.

Concerning TMLHBAC i think the debut and the 10" are their best releases. Also the album "Were you of silver..." is outstanding. A perfect discography in any case.

Old DB is amazing, later era not so much...When Did Wonderland End was awful and with the exception of the Philosopher's Stone I stopped listening to them after that.

Aye, the psychedelic stuff doesn't do anything for me. On topic, my fave And The Moon... release has to be Were You Of Silver, Were You Of Gold.

Got the 5 x 7" Version. Got it from Albin for 30 because the box is missing.

How do the tracks on the box-set differ from the CD ones? Could anyone provide a rip of them?

As for TMLHBAC, my favourite one has to be The Smell of Blood but Victory, and maybe the s/t as well. Some killer stuff but a bit of filler as well through their short discography.

DB's Gold... live album/VHS deserves a mention, too.

Early Der Blutharsch is absolutely mandatory if you like The Moon Lay Hidden Beneath a Cloud. Especially Track of the Hunted.

Alright, I stand corrected. Track Of The Hunted is awesome. Has a similar feel to TMLHBAC, it's a little less abrasive but in a good way. I'm into it.

Is this the same deal as the Track of the Hunted? I was mega confused when I found out their were two significantly different versions.
