The Kool Aid Kids threads made me think about when you find hidden gems on the internet that you missed out on in the past, the type the make you say -- Why haven't I heard this before?

What are hidden punk, hardcore punk, crossover gems you've found?

A couple I've found are--

Youth Korps -- demo

Mace -- Process of Elimination

One of the best and most under appreciated bands from my home town

Last Chaos, a shame they split up because they put out an amazing LP at the ass end of 2015

being patriotic is not the fashion- so they say- but I really like early Australian bands such as Razar, Leftovers, The Victims, The Thought Criminals et al. The best way to get into it all is via the Murder Punk compilations!

also the 90s Cleveland scene that centred around Non Commercial Records is amazing ie Inmates, Cider, Darvocets, h100s, Ruiners, Puncture Wound and all that wild shit is the most recent classic scene IMHO.

I like The Meathooks. Short-lived NY Electro/Noisecore band from the early 90ies. Nobody really cares about them and the records are still easy to find/cheap.

I like the messy Richard Hell "cover" the most.

Check out GENOCIDE from Finland, who uncannily sound a lot like Latex Cult-era Impaled Nazarene (must be a northern thing...!): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6nlDtcaBnz0

Fear Itself is less known but awesome stuff, raw, fast, yet catchy and tight - https://youtu.be/CPF3XEN1agA

Boneless Ones "Skate For The Devil" deserves more recognition too - https://youtu.be/xfiIXZ2DMks

Less metal or extreme, more classic hc/punk; Offenders, Social Unrest, RF7, etc...

Check UBR from my part of the globe.
