Already one of my most played albums of 2018. Undone is insane

Yeah, that track is being cemented as one of the most rocking Craft tracks to date.

It's kind of like atmospheric blackened djent on a few of the tracks, huh? I prefer the tracks that aren't like that. "Undone" is cool but it kind of loses the thread a few times. My personal favorite would have to be "Shadow." The bass is really heavy on this song and it gets me amped. Overall, it's a little too catchy, a little polished for my tastes. I'm sure it would grow on me, but when it comes time to listen to my own shit, I'd rather listen to something way harsher and way uglier than give this another spin tbh. Just my opinion. Please don't be mean. There's enough negativity in this world already. I'll probably put "Shadow" on a work out playlist though. That track comes down hard.

I think Craft can get away with sounding polished because we all knew it was coming from the FTU and on. There are albums that sound polished that can still be great. Examples: Dissection - Reinkaos, Goatmoon - Stella Polaris, etc. I think for die-hard Craft maniacs, like myself, we just have to accept that this is the direction they decided to go and bask in the rocking riffs. These guys are the Guns N Roses/Sisters of Mercy of black metal born from the bastard spawn of Darkthrone.

SoM should print that on the record sleeves instead of the lame "sounds like Goatwhore" crap they usually put on there! Great description!

Not good as their first two albums but this one exceeded my expectations.

I'm enjoying this more than I thought I would. It's consistently good and sounds a lot more like Craft than my initial impression from the sample tracks led me to believe. It's not the best thing ever, but I think it'll be a grower.

Been blasting this non stop for a week straight. Can't wait for my LP to arrive.

Most entertaining black metal album of the year. Impossible not to head bang to white noise

Really liked the album. Requires some deep concentration for sure. Craft for me were sort of like Sinister of SweBM - solid, but not super artistic. The last 2 albums showed that they changed - and in reality for better.

What's the deal with their first albums -- why haven't they been repressed?

That's a good question, indeed. But didn't someone mention here that eventually, they will be re-pressed? At least TSR.

Good listen, thanks for sharing. Perfect way to end it with Thorns - Existence, huge influence on Craft.

We'll repress all of them on CD and LP (CS to be confirmed - release dates TBC as well):

TSR in Septmember / TP in October / FTU and Void end of 2018-early 2019

Great, finally! Hope you'll keep the layout of at least the first two records as identical to the originals as possible, perfect simplicity!
