I'm usually not too keen on live records, but every once in a while a gig you attended gets released as an (official) live record. What are your favorites / most memorable?

Mine:

Lugubrum - Live in Amsterdam: Trampled Brass / Midget Robes (opening for Sunn O))) in june 2005)
Church of Misery - Live @ Roadburn 2009
Gnod - Live @ Roadburn 2012

There's also a reissue of Forgotten Tomb - Obscura Arcana Mortis that features two live tracks that were recorded in Arnhem in December 2004, never actually heard those recordings but I'd be interested in checking that out.

Deicide-when Satan lives.

The show was so fucking awesome because it was my first death metal shows I seen when I was 17. The album doesnít capture the live experience in my opinion.

Derek Bailey/Milo Fine at Flim Flam @ Ryans, London, released as Scale Points On The Fever Curve, featuring a really shitty cover. The actual album should've been better recorded (I still dig it), but the concert itself was incredible.

I feel like I've been to a decent amount of special shows, but the only one I can think of that made it to a live release is the Hells Headbash 2 DVD. Really great to relive those shows from time to time.

Yeah that was a killer weekend. NYOGTHAEBLISZ was my definite highlight.

They're a fantastic live band. Satanic Warmaster was the main reason I went, and they did not disappoint in the slightest. I hope for a Hells Headbash return someday. I'm sure they will pull out all the stops again.
