Anyone knows this band? I have the Mad Sorcer demo

Great stuff even with those computer drums.

There is a 5 song version , it seems mine is a 1996 rerelease with an extra track. Does someone have a pic of the original version?

Searching for the Sombrero Records LP version 2003 by the way

Wasn't the guy behind this band a relative of Gerrit from Malicious Records?

have this "mad sorcer" lp on sombre, bought it before ca. 3 years, when the sombre records leftovers were sold. saw it several times on ebay and wasn't that expensive (cheaper than 25).

Was the brother of Gerrit. Fucked himself up on hard drugs. Don't know what he is currently doing or if he is still alive.

Yeah I got the chance on the leftovers either but skipped. I was too busy with the Maniac Butcher and Master's Hammer ones

Dont know Silexaters music, only rumours the guy was Gerrit Weihers brother and killed himself.
Gerrit mentioned Silexater in an old Nordic Vision interview you can find here, but the name is always spelt Sileaxter.
I also read about NSBM ties, but the source (the German book Unheilige Allianzen, page 151) is dubious, full of mistakes and even wrongly translated quotes. Well, I will quote and translate it anyway.

Quote:
Das schwarze Trio von Germanien besteht aus Silexater/Morke/Absurd und diese Bands werden von dem Label untersttzt.

According to the book, this quote is taken from Dark Blaze magazine No. 2. I will now translate it to English.

Quote:
The black trio of Germania consists of Silexater/Morke/Absurd and these bands are supported by the label [Darker Than Black, not Weihers Malicious Records].

This is easily the best German Black Metal band of the 90ies.

The LP was one of the various Sombrero bootlegs. He thought it would be safe to do them without asking the band, but it wasn't.
