just listened to it for the first time and it's a great record, simple as that, finnish black metal strong as iron and still relentless. started off missing hoath torog's voice, but the new guy really fits the formula, which is already unbeatable. i just think they should have put "Blessing of the Fire-Bearer" last - that would've been perfect.
stoked to see them live this saturday, will snag a copy IF they have them with them, we'll see. great band.

I just wish they played more old stuff when they did LA on the last tour. One song from Satanic Black Devotion and nothing from Disciple of the Heinous Path was a bit of a bummer, as much as I like the newer material.

This band is pleasing to listen to, but gets so redundant. Like always playing that movement from I to VI for drama. Sargeist takes the best elements from Gorgoroth and rearranges them and repeats them.

Never really given them a proper listen before, but that was always my impression: Gorgoroth, Done very well of course.

I like this new singer though, lots of passion, madness, character and venom in his delivery for sure. I like the more 'shouted' bits.

Specially after Let the Devil In, that album sounds perfect.

That album sorely needs an LP reissue.

After two listens, its good album. Better than previous two. Same Sargeist style but better album structure, good sounds (unlike Feeding... crap sound) and new vocalist is a breath of fresh air, although Hellwind is not very unique. If I'd change something, I'd probably take off few fillers songs to make it more tight and compact 30 minutes album. That was another problem with previous two records.

Glad they finally have proper artwork. No more Torog's model of the year photos.

I figured that I was just retarded and couldn't find it. Cheers.

Excellent album. I'm going to order the CD in anticipation of going over my allotted BC listens.

Sargeist are the masters! New vocalist does a great job on this album. This has to be some of Sargeist's strongest material. Relentless!!

One thing Shatraug is definitely good at is picking new vocalists for his bands.

This is very good still not as good as let the devil in but a close second.

Crazy how much love for Let the Devil in is in this thread- that album is good, but for me nothing can top Satanic Black Devotion

Satanic Black Devotion and Feeding the Crawling Shadows are the two best albums before this.
