MISOTHEIST

BLACK METAL from Trondheim, Norway.
With no shortage of bands striving for anonymity purely for imagery and the sake of being “mysteriious”, draped in cloth from top to toe, there are still those who prefer lurking in the shadows without documenting it on various social media platforms.

With nothing from the past to reference, with no egos up front and center, and with no previous bands to name drop, Misotheist has only the music to showcase - which speaks for itself. Striking out from the darkness like a razor sharp knife, this sonorous and merciless first release leaves a compulsion for more. Feel free to have a listen at the Terratur Possessions SoundCloud! And as always(!?): SHARE!

LISTEN: https://soundcloud.com/terratvr-possessions/misotheist-beast-and-soil

Debut fullenght to be released 30.11.18 on CD/LP by Terratur Possessions exclusively. Limited gold vinyl and regular black. NO PREORDERS.

Art by Izzy, layout and design by Kontamination Design

Very interesting track. It reminds me somehow new OTOH album. OTOH won't exist, so Misotheist may be their great heir...

Sounds like the Kaosritual/Dark Sonority guitarist and HBM on vocals with the Whoredom Rife drummer Very Happy

At any rate, next to the new Whoredom Rife track, this is some outstanding music coming from Terratur as usual.

Definitely not HBM on vocals. It does sound good though.

This album is absolutely mind blowing and I can’t stop playing it, it’s been on repeat regularly ever since I got it almost a year ago, or whatever it’s been. A second record is also recorded and in the final mixing stages. Will let this release breathe a bit first though before we release anything new.
This album is a filthy offspring of a Deathspell Omega/old Drudkh/Flesh Cathedral bukkake gangbang. Every song blows me away.

Advance track sounds promising. Sure has the Terratur vibe spot on.

You got me right there. That's the spirit, and the music, the concept as well as the visual language speak for themselves, indeed. Don't get me wrong, you have a strong roster, but THIS, next to "Venter på stormene", is something else, at least to me, and I'm really anxious to listen to the whole release.

Do you have plans for Misotheist merch?

Well that does sound interesting. Another clean and well crafted slab of vinyl art.

This is a badass track. Usually don't stream anything as I mostly blind buy from you (except for Icelandic stuff), but I'm glad I checked this out.

I agree with the Vemod comment as a way to signofy that this is really something special here. Most Terratur releases are special, but there are those certain few like Vemod that live on as classics, and this sounds promising.

I admit myself that this record is something special and stands out. There are good and great releases and then theres the special ones. Thanks for the feedback, btw!

Yes, posting merch next week. Looks absolutely fantastic.

Very intriguing track, love that main riff! Definitely has that vibe and quality that you expect from Terratur bands without sounding too much like the others. Might give the Knokkelklang record a competitor for album of the year if the rest is as good!
