Why the fuck are the film soundtrack LPs so expensive. I'd like to have some Fabio Frizzi or Goblin but I don't think I'm paying those prices.

The Nasty Savage s/t and Manowar ones are great.

Can't recall the label off hand, but those recent Tormentor reissues sounded good

Label is Brutal Assault and that's a festival originally. Apart from the poster, I didn't feel they were very good. They (the records you're talking about) don't have proper spines.

The biggest upside is that they are official Tormentor releases.

i didn't pick up the last pressing of those, but am planning to get the most recent pressing they just put out a few weeks ago. too bad to hear they're in thin/spineless sleeves, but as long as the sound and pressing quality is on point I'll be ok with em.

Tormentor reissues are done by Saturnus Productions which is Attila's own label. Brutal Assault fest has nothing to do with it.

It was Master's Hammer Jilemnický Okultista that Brutal Assault did.

From a few weeks ago!? Do you mean the one from 2017 - or is there a new (3rd press) out !?

Nuclear Death re-release cds should get a mention as well - they are almost replicas of the old Wild Rags ones. Look and sound great!

Also forgot:

Vlad Tepes- A Catharsis For Human Illness...there are parts on Dans Notre Chute that I've never heard on any other version of the release, specifically the segments between the songs....

Quoting myself from the Type O thread:

Quote:
I recently picked up the "Bloody Kisses" Music On Vinyl Reissue and am very happy with it.

Very nice reproduction of the original gatefold cover, a nice booklet w/ lyrics as well as some additional shots from the cover photo session (one of them was previously used for that Digipack version with the alternative track listing I think?) plus an additional "art print" of the cover photo minus band logo and title. And most importantly: great pressing quality and sound.

Highly recommended reissue all around!

I also second the Svart "Dance of December Souls" reissue. Excellent sound on that one!

Thanks for the correction. But Ritual was released by Brutal Assault too.

The Tormentor LPs are the ones with the thin spine, the ones from last year, that is.

No sure which ones you mean specifically, but some do show up at Hells Headbangers.

This one isn't that expensive:

After listening to the shitty Autopsy CD for years, I finally checked out the Rorschach - Remain Sedate/Protestant LP reissue and it sounds so much more powerful than the original recordings. Damn impressive.
