Hmm... the Thorens brand sounds intriguing. What's your opinion on the whole belt driven versus direct driven argument?

Haven't done any comparing really, but have a look around and notice that almost, if not all the best turntables are belt driven. Supposing everything else is OK, you'll have no trouble with running speed if you just change the belt every couple of years and clean the surfaces it touches. It's not a huge invest neither a hard task.

Have some models on plans already?
