|
|
I've decided to hijack my own thread and ask about another problem. Thanks again for answering swiftly to the first one.
I've noticed a small crack in my "De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas" CD holder just recently and I want to replace it. However, there are some parts of the booklet that I can't seem to move without damaging it. If anyone has had similar problems, please give me a piece of advice on this. _________________ "I've noticed a (certain) lack of demons lately and it worries me sick..."

The latter has a large booklet and poster in a bigger packaging than the regular digipak version. _________________ Good traders/sellers: Yosuke of NWN! The regular digipak is pretty worthless, but the digibook version is really cool, has lots of pictures and just looks great in general. I'd say it's definitely worth the extra cash. |

After all these compilations, there cannot soon be another. Hellhammer has been fully chronicled. Demon Entrails should be the last for a long, long time. |

The regular digi is such a piece of crap it isn't funny. It was an impulse buy for me. I saw it at a shop for only $10 and just had to buy it.
Is the deluxe still available?
I'd say this official release is better than any shit bootleg, at least. |

Not if you actually care about how they SOUND rather then just having them for the sake of having them.
I bought the 3LP for obvious reasons, and I bought the barebones digi set so I could have FLAC rips of these beasts. |

Fuck stupid fucking bootlegs.
The deluxe version is definitely worth the money. I bought it from Century Media right when it came out and it was not unreasonably priced at all. It also comes with a poster of the LP version album cover that is four times the size of a regular cd booklet cover. The book itself is very informative, especially for people who only have a cursory understanding of the band's history and don't have original 1983 newsletters from the band. |

Yeah seriously, that was one of the dumbest things I've read in a long time. |

The deluxe version is worth getting not because it's cool, but because the digipack is complete crap... just a sleeve to squeeze them into, it's like getting a promo. |

There's a 2xCD boot from '03 or '04 that sounds pretty close to the sound on "Demon..." with the exception of "Demon..." being a bit louder. Tape warps at the same places, etc.
I only have the reg. version as a backup since I own the 3xLP. It's pretty useless and as mentioned, it just looks like a promo. |

Considering the overall quality, I'd say get it if you manage to find it for less than 20.00 €.
I paid something like 14.90 € for my "deluxe" version a year ago at Dis-Order, and I don't think it's that rare since there were a lot of these pressed. _________________
