The opinion of the album seems quite split between the old schoolers who think the album was a weak attempt at death metal, and those who find the album as a great piece of death/thrash. What are your thoughts on The Laws of Scourge and how it fits in relation to the rest of the band's discography. I don't think it's all that much of a downgrade in terms of quality.

I like it a lot, but it's a pretty straightforward album compared to prior works so I can see why it would have put people off at the time.

Took a long time to grow on me, but overall it's a solid album.

A label whose name escapes me is already doing that as far as I know. I for one will pick up a copy as this is a good thrash album.

Killer album, what's not to like ? ! I spin the vinyl pretty often and never get sick of it.

I remember when it was released a bunch of retards claimed it as a shame and the band as poser, mainstream, etc. but till nowadays this album just crush, kill and destroy 99% of modern bands and the same retards call it as Kult Black/ Death ever.

Great album. It may have been a step down in intensity, but it was a step up in songwriting.
