Next year I plan on taking a trip to Europe(FI and maybe another country), so I need some travel advice.

What is the least expensive way to travel to Europe, how hard is it to exchange one currency for another, the best time of year to come over, etc.?

I've been wondering myself about what country would be cheapest to fly to.

I'd need to get to Europe first, before I could even consider using the INTERRAIL; it's definitely the way to travel once you're there.

Homemade raft I suspect would be the cheapest.

And of course if you actually succeed, almost unlimited kvlt points would have to be rewarded. Razz

You can't buy an Interrail pass if you're not from Europe.

Inter-rail is by far the best/cheapest method to get around the entire continent. I think you can still get a good deal on it if you're not a student. Means shopping around. If you're planning on coming to Europe to travel around, you'd be extremely foolish to not arrange your travel beforehand to some degree. Otherwise you'll find it very expensive getting around. I'd say best bet is to fly into London/Amsterdam/Paris or Berlin & go from there, wherever. Summer is the best time because the weather is better, longer days & there are tons of festivals. It will cost more to fly into Europe during the summer, however.

Alright, let me rephrase that: you can't buy an interrail pass if you are not an inhabitant of one of the participating countries (+ AlbaniŽ, Andorra, Cyrus, Estland, Ijsland, Letland, Liechtenstein, Litouwen, Malta, MoldaviŽ, Monaco, OekraÔne, Rusland, San-Marino, Vatikaan en Witrusland can buy aswell). Since Turkey participates, you can buy one. But the topic starter won't. Just informing, because otherwise he could be in for a very unpleasant surprise.

Finlandia = FINLANDIA VODKA

I live in the country where most Black metal bands can't or won't come to, the US.

I'm interested in seeing what other countries have to offer, such as culture, music, etc.
