Also currently underway, based on the Watts recommendations above. Good stuff so far. Does it matter which order the Firefall books are read? I had figured I would pick up whichever I found first at the used book store. This was all they had at the moment.

It doesn't matter that much, but Blindsight is literally freely available on Peter Watts website. Just go read it. Now.

Finished The Runlords - The Sum of All Men by David Farland earlier. Some cool ideas in there. Pretty easy read for a fantasy series. I hear the later books go completely off the rails, though.

Library has both…I’ll get them there next week. Also in the midst of a mix of 70s/80s weirdo and gore comix.

Good score. I've been after this for quite a while. Much of his other works have received reprints in recent years, but this remains relatively scarce. Mostly available in shabby 1970's paperbacks, usually at quite expensive prices too. Same with his 'Visitors from Space', another Keel title that I need.

I do kinda like much of that old 1970's paperback art as well.

Edit: Looking on AbeBooks, I see "Strange Creatures..." was reprinted by New Saucerian, August 2014. Cheap enough there too. Mine!

This is another literal beast of a book I picked up over the last few years, man pretty much all of the stories about firstly, hearing about these creatures from far away folk sources then going out to hunt and of course actually encountering then for the first time is quite incredible to read. An amazing amalgamation of folk tales brought into the scientific realm. The holy grail of cryptozoology, as I’m lead to believe.

Also looking forward to taking the wrapper off the sizeable coffee table book over the weekend. Grew up watch his creature films and they’re still the best.

Just got to "Song of Susannah" in the Dark Tower series. Taking a break from that and starting with "Many Worlds in One" by Alex Vilenkin. Haven't ever delved into theoretical physics before and from what I've gathered Vilenkin's book explains the expansion of the universe for the laymen, such as myself. Anyone else have recommendations along the lines of that?

Dejan Ognjanovic - Zavodnik, one of the best horror novels I read. Sadly only available in Serbian.
