Doesn't make much sense to carry on if the members that have left wrote all of the stuff to date - right? I didn't think the drummer wrote any of it. |

Absolutely, one of the better livebands I've seen in recent years. |
I've also seen them, about 1 month ago.
At least here at this gig, they were totally boring.
...can't understand the fuzz about them ever since, does completely nothing for me, except for looking somehow weird on stage with all these "instruments" around; like a musical playground of weird sounding stuff. |
well it depends, I don't listen much to their albums, but I've mostly seen them in small locations, one time even in small bar where the audience had to carry the giant horn because there was so few space.
I think in these smaller clubs with 50-100 people they create an unbelievable atmosphere, because the music is very deep and the singer turns into a totally possessed barbarian.
At UTBS 2004 I've seem them the only time on an open air and it was disappointing, because outisde the sound is rather dull and the band couldn't fill the wide space with their performance.
they were an extraordinary group, so RIP |

n'crugulu bradului is their masterpiece... top production of their last stuff does not fit at all with the atmosphere they want to create _________________ https://hachermenu.wordpress.com/

N Crugu Bradului is fantastic. Definitely my favourite Negura release. I have seen them three times and have never reall been blown away by them live as I think their music works better on a stereo, in relative solitude. The party atmosphere of a gig doesn't really do them justice. Pity they split up, or have they... It seems odd for the drummer to keep the band going at this stage. A name change seems more logical. _________________ www.myspace.com/wothesperus
