Warhate / Domini Inferi split LP
Anti-Goth 026
Warhate plays heathen war metal the way it was meant to be. Short bursts of angst and hatred to celebrate the wolf in man. Their side of the LP was originally released as a split 7" with Nasum back in 1998.
Domini Inferi is pre-Conqueror bestial black death metal project from R. Forster. Their side comes from a promo tape from 1994.
Presented in gatefold jacket with printed innersleeve and pressed on 180 gram heavy vinyl. Die hard version inclues two lapel pins and silver vinyl. This is probably the shortest LP I will ever do. Clocking in at 11 minutes total and cut at 45 RPM for superior audio fidelity. This will be sold for a normal LP price due to its manufacturing costs.
Unfortunately GZ fucked up and cut the Obi strips incorrectly so the initial copies will NOT come with obis. Wait to place the order if you want to get an obi. I can also send out the obi separately if you pay for postage. _________________ Contact: nwnprod@gmail.com

The obi that I got was folded in half sort of like a leaflet to go over the jacket contained by the polypropylene clear protective outer sleeve thing.
I also got a half-strip ( of the leaflet ) with the NWN information on front and blank on back.
Both mentioned above are silver print on black glossy paper.
This album is kick ass, by the way.... |

Great EP. I think more people would have got this if it was a 7". People are more likely to buy it on impulse with an order if it's cheap and small.
Warhate is just grind as far as I'm concerned. Very little (if any) black or death metal in the sound. I imagine that the reason they weren't on MA before that was because most people simply considered them a grind band. |

Warhate were killer, picked up the original split with Nasum when I saw them in 2000 (I think).
Unsure whether I should buy this version, DI would be interesting, though. |

Really? I think they sound very much like bestial black death. _________________ Contact: nwnprod@gmail.com

I agree but I wanted to do something over the top for this since I liked both recordings a lot. In hindsight it might have been overkill to do gatefold jacket, printed innersleeve, poster, obi, for less than 15 minutes of music all together. _________________ Contact: nwnprod@gmail.com

I think it's great to overkill on the stuff you really like. I certainly appreciate it. It's awesome to see diehard attention to the music, regardless of duration.
I favour a short but 100% excellent recording over a long one with weak parts or filler anyways.
And besides, the 12" 45rpm format rules. I wish it was more common. If it weren't so impractical cost-wise, it would be fucking killer to see regular 33rpm LPs come out as double or triple 45rpm LPs (or double 33rpm LPs come out as quadrple or more 45rpm LPs!!!).
The sound really is great. The Warhate / Domini Inferi split LP, Blasphemy 'Blood Upon the Altar/Gods of War' DLP, and the Martire mLP are excellent examples of this. |
