To register a package from USA to Italy is 10$, which is to add to the price of the ordinary shipping. Personally I had problems from Germany (2 packages lost in 2 months) but none from and to USA, in over 10 years. Anyway, a registered shipping is always adviced.

Thanxs to all,
I just paid the 7" but due to the high postage rates from now on I'll be forced to buy items inside Europe only, and that's pity Sad

Yes, registered will add at least $10 to the price, but probably $11.50 like others have said. Still, shipping a CD or 7" to Italy should only cost $12-$15.
should cost that but doesn't. i ship from iceland, granted, but the prices i have seen on parcels coming from the usa have been high. even though no reg was involved.
Ja, shipping to Scandinavia from here is always expensive. I think the USPS takes advantage of đinn's sons and daughters in the USA because we tend to have money Razz Nevertheless I've shipped a fair number of CDs to Italy, registered by request. 1-2 CDs packed very well and registered has never run me above $25.
