The new record Foot Print was announced to be out soon and there's already a couple of preview songs:

The new songs are very similar to the last on the previous album and knowing that he does not consider the band to be Black Metal it feels like the most logical progression. Not too keen on the cover artwork though

dunno how I feel about those couple trax, and I say that as someone who liked the acoustic track on his last album the most. Looks and sounds like some weird 90s Alt band almost...

1) What's this dude's fascination with ugly feet?

2) I kind of like it... not on the same dark level as Night Comes Along, but they definitely a capture a Southwestern vibe and flute keeps it a little mystic. I would agree it sounds like a 90's alt-rock band, but even the album cover gives off that vibe so it's probably a little intentional. I'll buy it.

EDIT: That second track, The Giver, is kind of monotonous despite having an overall really cool sound and classic Shataan vocals. I couldn't help rolling my eyes at the description saying that it's based on the book The Giver, though... what is this, 6th grade?

I wouldn't mind this if it came with some metal too. I don't exactly go to BTC bands to just hear some folk tunes.

I have to disagree here. While the book is aimed at kids I believe the theme of duality in Weigh of the Wolf is also present here. Inspiration can come from anywhere
