|
|
So back in 2006 when Destroyer 666 toured the US their tour took them to the following cities.
Sep. 29th - NYC (NY) Metal Kingdom
Sep. 30th - Austin (TX) Room 710
Oct. 1st - St. Paul (MN) Station-4
Oct. 2nd - Chicago (IL) The Double Door
Oct. 3rd - Seattle (WA) The FunHouse
Oct. 4th - San Francisco (CA) The Elbow Room
Oct. 5th - Los Angeles (CA) The Westchester
Oct. 6th - Houston FBI ROCKS #2(TX)
Oct. 7th - Washington DC JAXX
and now in 2009 it is as follows:
Sept 26 Los Angeles Gathering of the Bestial Legion IV Festival @ IronRoom USA
Sep 27th - Houston (TX) @ White Swan USA
Sep 28th - New York City (NY) @ Europa USA
Sep 29th - Providence (RI) @ Club Hell USA
Sep 30th - Charlotte (NC) @ The Underground USA
Oct 1st - Chicago (IL) @ Double Door USA
Oct 2nd - San Francisco (CA) @ Parkside USA
now clearly going from Texas to California to New York and such combinations overnight is NOT feasible by any means other then flying. Yet to constantly be making these overnight flights over multiple thousand mile distances seems quite odd, not to mention financially crippling. Are one of the guys in D666 a secret millionaire? This is the second time they've had a US tour with the most bizarre routing I've ever seen, maybe I'm missing something here... _________________ I was a brazen prince and cold, now a king on an oaken throne |

Yeah, if all those shows were just in Denver, they could save a lot of money. |

Maybe the question to be asked is who's paying? |

That SF show was so killer. I think Morbosidad played too if I remember correctly. I know I saw them at the Elbo Room at some point... |

I was just talking about their current tour routing yesterday.
That's gonna be very tiring for those wolves jumping from one state to another - via flying at that.
You'd think it would have been set up more aligned to eachother like LA, then SF, not a huge gap in between!
I too am curious who's bringing them down/funding this tour.
Oh well, the point is they are finally returning and I hope they dont' run out of merch as they did in MDF! Fuk that was lame! It went faster then Boltthrower's merch it seemed! _________________ Speeding Through Hell!

the sound was of course very bad _________________

Haha, I suppose the Italian sound guy was "busy" taking his time to relax, because in Italy there is never any rush haha... |
