I've been seeing this phenomenon in other genres: bands decide to make their MP3s available for free, like Demilich did.
Anyone know of any other bands doing this?
No, myspace doesn't count -- most people don't want to be tied down to the shitty myspace player and many don't even want to go to myspace. I can't blame them. _________________ http://www.last.fm/user/Conservationist |

you mean whole albums ? Many bands have single mp3s to check out, not much whole records though.
Asgard (Cze) have their mid 90ies demos for downloading. Cool Black/Thrash but not mandatory. The second demo is the better one.
Legion (Rus) have their infamous album "Knights On Cross" 1994 for free download as well as some other single samples of other records. This is truly fucked up stuff in the vein of the Metal Enterprises releases.
But you can slightly feel how fantastic (and sane) they used to be in their Apocalipsis 1986 demo when listening to the rerecorded "Listopad" song which is available there as well. _________________ Good/Bad traders list

| I think Deathwitch once had all of their material for free download on their website. |

Assasin and Sacrifice used to have everything on their old websites, but both sites were updated and had all the mp3s removed. _________________ Stab your demonic smile to my brain. Soak me in cognac, cunt and cocaine.
