For all those, who prefer BLACK to silver, we have great news: There will be vinyl editions of the forthcoming album "Microcosmos" and each re-release! Once again, Season of Mist will provide a collectors box to case those precious pieces. Why should fans of vinyl get less?... more details to be revealed later...

Great news. Seems I can sell my Picture-LP of "Blood in our wells" then. Laughing

Hope they'll do a "regular" version as well.
Amazing band - and what I've heard from Microcosmos so far sounds like no let down....

It's a fine album but definitely their worst - well, least awesome.

Seconded. The sample I heard on YouTube awhile ago was horribly boring.

It is very sad to see this band continue into boring territories. The first four albums are fucking classics. But I guess that's the way it goes...

As interesting as the "Satanic Bible".

Microcosmos sounds a lot like the first 4 just with a larger production (due to the fact they used a proper studio). Try listening to it before forming an opinion.

It's not just about the production. There are actually parts in that album which are indeed plain boring. No comparisson to "Forgotten Legends" or "The Swan Road" at all.

The production isn't bothering me...it's really just the riffs, which don't grab me like other Drudkh material. Believe me, as this is one of my favorite bands I always give their releases more than a quick listen, I will be giving it more of a shot. Just powerfully disappointed so far.

It's boring as shit.

If this is the standard of newer black metal, serve me up the old school!

Drone, drone, drone, drone... shift riffs... drone, drone, drone... song goes nowhere... guitar solo... fade out to folk music.

Skyforger is a far better example of what this band is trying to be. Dukh just need to hang it up and go home.

some of the riffs on autumn aurora are brilliant, but they seemed to get more boring with every release (sans blood in the wells, which is great!)
