This! I was thinking exactly the same some time back. However, I liked the new Kadotus one a lot.

I don't really get that Kadotus/Nidaros comparision. Surely are influenced (and connected to) by those bands but still sounds like Kadotus and Vaienneet temppelit is 666% certainly their best effort to the date.

I'll agree that it was, but to ignore the predominant influence of Mare on the last album is just stupid.
