So guys...what are your views about the SACRIFICE comeback album? I'm on track 5 now and the headbanging has been intense so far...What about you?

It is a good comeback album...and that is something...maybe the fact that is has been the same line up of the classic albums helps...I just think if they can keep it for more albums, but it is too early to think about it...meanwhile as you said, very good.

It's better than the last couple of releases, but even for having the original line-up, it's pretty lack luster. I don't get these reunions where bands forget the things that made them great when it comes to songwriting. They think some lame chug/palm muted thrash riffs that go nowhere is all it's gonna take to win back their old fans, when there was elements of that in their old material, but most importantly, there was some really catchy and evil sounding guitar work in there as well. This acted as the foundation of their old stuff.... not standard E chug riffs.

I dunno... I found it really boring and formulamatic to a fault.

As terrible as "Apocalypse Inside"? That album was a total borefest, like a tamed version of Destruction's "Cracked Brain", which says a lot.

Have yet to hear it, but the one track I've heard seemed pretty cool. It seems that opinions are kinda split on this album,,,

Haha that was my first Destruction album. It was all I could find as a kid. Laughing - but you are right, Apocalypse Inside was utter shit!

I haven't heard the new Sacrifice album, but the song off their myspace is ok - it lacks the original rawness of their early years, but it's what you'd expect from them in 2009. I'll buy it when I see it in stores here.

As a general statement, this is brilliant.

I have not yet heard the Sacrifice CD, so I don't know if it applies, but so many bands screw this up it's amazing.

Cynic, Metallica, and Pestilence to name a few recent ones.
