"Hallucinations" while good, was a bit too technical for my taste, whereas "Todde..." or "Longing..." (you decide the best title) has a very good brutal side while still retaining that technical edge...yep, NB used to have some good stuff...

I think there was some maturation between albums. The first one is cool for the strange abstraction it presents, which makes it feel unearthly, but it's not as easy to sit down and listen to. Agreed on all counts.

Winter Into Darkness although I guess that does have some hype but not like some of the bigger bands obviously.

These albums might not be "hyped" around here but they are generally well regarded in death metal circles. All three Brutality albums are great.

The last two Brutality albums are shit IMO. Did the demos/eps CDr ever come out on regular CD? I know the band was talking about it for a while but not sure if it ever happened.

The last one is WAY too self-indulgent, but I remember thinking that both Screams of Anguish and When the Sky Turns Black... were really good. I'll have to go back and listen to those two again...

Don't think they did. Pity.

I wouldn´t call it love ! But I like their albums !

Beside the already mentioned DISHARMONIC ORCHESTRA, IMPULSE MANSLAUGHTER, DEFECATION and so on I would say ROSTOK VAMPIRES !

Divine Eve - As the Angels Weep CDEP.

As metal-archives.com puts it, "Doom / Death Metal with grind influences."

I don't care what anyone says about them now, Kataklysm's material with Sylvain Houde is unrivaled. I'd really love an LP version of "Sorcery" as well as an LP of "Temple of Knowledge".

Fuck yeah man! Kataklysm's material with Sylvain Houde is so killing!
