I view it as there are plenty of bands plying this sound that do all sorts of different things within the basic framework we're discussing here. No need to wish Proclamation to do something different, just put on another band. Out of all those bands I think its good we have one that simply takes what Blasphemy did and twists it around ever so slightly, with excellent results, and does so consistently. No harm in that eh?

Amen to that !

Well I dont think there are plenty of bands playing this style. Of course there are many that try too. But in my opinion only Proclamation, Diocletian and Blasphemophagher are worth it.

meh, I've always loved the Blasphemy style of BM, therefor I'll always have a soft spot for new bands that come and ape this style, originality is overrated ...just blast out some great Blasphemy worship, thats all I care about! but yeah, what that other guy said...its the small tweaks to the style that gives bands like Proclamation, Diocletian and Blasphemophagher their character...

Proclamation's first 2 LP's are among some of my favorite releases, in my opinion they shouldn't change anything. Can't wait to get the new album on vinyl.

Well worth the $5 sacrificial offering for this blasphemous third album!

I'd throw another handful in there but yeah, its not something that is easy to pull off effectively and not many bands get it right. Diocletian and Blasphemophagher are definitely among the best, no doubt about it. I've always had a huge soft spot for Axis of Advance too.

Looking forward to getting this on wax, Proclamation haven't disappointed me yet. People who don't want the same album again don't get Proclamation. That said, I have a particular soft spot for the Impious Jaws of Ire demo.

idem. Btw, slighty improvements in the production is the way (ex: I like more the second album for the infamous better sound of the guitars), no more. Can't wait

Metal Archives has the tracklist with song lengths there, so I guess someone really has it somewhere.

And BTW, how rare is the video material of Proclamation? I'm talking about "Desecrating Madrid" VHS and "Rites of Carnality" DVD. I guess the latter was sold only during a tour? Would love to see them play but I guess those items would cost millions second-handed...

got this in the mail yesterday along with the new Ignivomous (which is a fucking monster of an album) and this is exactly what I expected. Another dose of solid Blasphemy worship, no frills, plenty of evil atmosphere. Sounds good to me!
