I'll try and pick 'em all up!

They should do a Box set that combines all of them like the Gates of Slumber's "Chronicles of True Doom".

Never really cared about this band, but just in case someone is interested:
Someone tried to sell the following vinyls on a Finnish auction site a while ago, the starting price was 400 euros. The seller mentioned putting them on ebay if no bids would come. No bids ever came, so I guess ebay it is for this lot.
I haven't followed the stock exchange around this band, so the starting price seemed was very high to me?

400 euros for all of those is way too high. Most of those are not even that rare. Specially the more recent ones.

Only one I am missing is the Ritual Steel split.

More re-release madness

I think the only RB album previously released on vinyl was CRUSH THE INSECTS...the rest should be the first pressing released on vinyl...

I thought more about "wow, the next label specializing itself for re-releases only".

Which can only be a good (but expensive) thing.

There was an interesting thread on Metal Archives that the amount of releases in all Metal genres that got released in 2007 and 2008 has decreased year for year. And will be even less in 2009.

So I can imagine, from where this re-release mania comes from.

http://www.metal-archives.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=54760
(re-releases not in these graphs of corpse !!! Only new releases)

As long as records are rereleased on vinyl I think it's okay since it is impossible to trade or buy some vinyls which have been released some years ago. However, the release has to been done with a lot of care, like f.ex. the 2008 Burzum rereleases of BoB and not crappy shit like the Gorgoroth LPs by Agonia. To make it short: I really appreciate the upcoming releases on Svart Rec.

UPCOMING:

Xysma: First and Magical LP

It took a while before I noticed this, but it's never too late to say that it's about time to have First And Magical on vinyl!

I have the 'Above the Mind of Morbidty' 12" and 'Yeah' 12" thats all I really cared about the band. Demo rules, too. First And Magical was ok but it was the beginning of the end for the band imo.

Opinions are like assholes and all that, but First & Magical deserves to be bought for Uranus Falls Again alone. And rest of the tracks rule too. Wink
