Saw it two years ago at a local fair for 30 and it remained unsold, guy told me he had been trying to get rid of it for some months already. I'm not paying too much attention to the cd market these days but I noticed that some of the albums which used to sell for heaps of money 8-10 years ago are now collecting dust. I remember that Nefandus 1st CD going for $50+ back in 2003-04, put my own copy for sale at $25 buy it now one year ago and nobody gave a fuck.

Not that I'm such an expert on CD's, but it seems like it's mainly black metal CD's that have decreased in value. I'm thinking about Arckanum, Horde,...

Pretty much anything death & thrash metal sells for obscene amounts nowadays, even the stuff they couldn't get rid of in the bargain bins ten years ago.

Sure, of course you're right, it was black metal that I was referring to. First Horna original Solistitium, first Watain on Drakkar (sold my first fully signed copy for $390 in 2004, couldn't get more than 20 bucks for the second one just three years later), The black etc, they all seem to have been out-culted in the last couple of years.

I think that it was in 2004 that some local guy offered them to me for 4 Euros each and I just wasn't interested in this band's stuff. Are these albums really considered sought ater nowadays?

That was some total psycho girl from Australia who used to collect literally everything had the Watain logo attached to it. She later on bought off me the two eps and a fully signed poster of the Dissection/Watain tour for similar crazy amounts of money. Still not as rabid as the guy who bought my Morbid Death Execution lp for $737, or the Russian who forked out $340 for my VT/Belketre, or one of the posters of this board who was kind enough to bid $272 on my Jileminicky Okultista demotape. Good times Very Happy

Thank kult. He was actually a pretty cool dude, a dentist or something if memory serves me right, and was friends with that minge-eater stamp collector. He later on offered me $700 for the Gehenna Black Seared Heart LP, sadly I didn't accept it. I used to like that album a lot and just couldn't part ways with it. I should have.

I figured they were, they are OOP and maybe you just had an desperate seller? They kind of bottomed out around 20$, so I'm assuming that's how much they are. Though I've seen them for different prices, I figure one of the vets here would know.

Yep, that seems right. He's another one of those wacko "collectors" with money to burn. Sort of like the Yankees.
