Not bad, but kinda tired of all this urban post-black-depressive-whateva thing....

More info tomorrow.

It is not urban / depressive / etc.

It is a quite deeply layered work ... more information soon.

Interesting indeed!

A little Magnum P.I. moustache magic led me to this:

You're heading down the right trail. Wink

This will be of extremely special interest to the Dutch - but it's a massive work and accessible to everyone. Already reviewed by a handful of blogs and all at 8, 9, or 10 / 10.

Track premiere coming very soon.

Nice sleuthing W. Helm. First track comes out tomorrow!

Blood Music is extremely pleased to announce to its roster - the incredible one-of-a-kind Dutch black metal unit: Grey Aura!

“Waerachtighe beschryvinghe van drie seylagien, ter werelt noyt soo vreemt ghehoort” is not only the longest and most insane album title we've ever heard (descending from olde Dutch) but is also one of the best, most conceptual, and epic debut records we've ever come across.

Taking the form of an hour-and-a-half double-disc black metal audio play, the band spent nearly three years meticulously writing, planning, and recording their massive initial entry into the black metal oeuvre.

The piece interleaves between pitch-perfect raw black metal anthems [mixing doses of Paysage d'Hiver with hints of Dissection] and professionally-acted and sound designed interludes, tracing the story of Willem Barentsz – an ill-fated Dutch explorer from the late 16th century. Barentsz's exploits took him three times to the Arctic north to discover a Northeast passage, only to succumb to the grim realities of neverending winter and scurvy. The album traces the steps of his final, fatal voyage.

The band is currently hard-at-work on a massive layout undertaking, including full English translations of the dialogue and much more. The full album premiere will come in early 2015.

We can't wait to unleash this monster onto the world.

Are you by any chance the Helm that used to post on Invisible Oranges while it was still a metal website?

By the lyrics I'm guessing this is about the Polar expedition of Willem Barentsz?

EDIT: So it is.

Wasn't much work, but thanks for the compliment and sorry for ruining your mysterious promotional campaign. Very Happy

Nope, I'm not that Helm. I needed a name to release a project without having it appear in my list of registered songs for my old band.
Based on my own name, I decided to use it as some kind of artist monicker and alias.
