Anyone know if these lads have anything up their sleeves? Blotsband was great and their contributions to the Weltenfiend split were even better (well, maybe not better than Endtime Communion...). I'd love to hear more from them soon. They must be due another album at this stage...

Would be interested to know too. Total support. Regularly listen to the Blodsband album. Surely time for another full-length?

Also, anyone know where to get those early compilation CDs they participated in?

Nice to see other people love this band, never seen people discuss them before. I only got into them because I wanted the Weltenfiend split for the Absurd/GBK tracks. Sigrblot really proved to be the sleeper on that release.

From their Metal Archives:

Other appearances:
"White Death" - Compilation CD - 1998
(Sigrblot: "Awaiting the eternal empire" & "Last screams of a dying era")
"Corneliu Codreanu: Prezent!" - Compilation Tape - 1998
(Sigrblot: "Apocalyptic vision (Storm of the third millennium)")

Here are the two tracks from the 1998 White Death compilation. Physical copy might be hard to find for a reasonable price these days.

There were some implications of new material being composed years ago. Never saw this confirmed anywhere. Blodsband and Weltenfeind are both EXCELLENT releases, new material would be more than welcome. Since there are people on this board in touch with the band, maybe one of you could ask them?

Yes it is. I have a copy to get rid of as well so it looks like it is not that rare after all.

Sigrblot definitely needs to release some more material. They're extremely underrated.

Is it just me or does their vocalist sound almost identical to Mortuus/Arioch?

yes, agreed. I think its mostly from the swedish-english articulation, but they are very similar.

Let the speculation game begin!

For me older Sigrblot sounds very similar to Dark Blood Rising -era Diabolicum. Coincident?

It sounds exactly like him. Who knows...

A follow-up is welcomed!

There are a couple of guest musicians on the albums. There can of course be speculation regarding who these are. It is not exactly hard to hear when there is someone else singing. According to interviews with the band, none of the members play in other groups.

Its not that hard to find information about the members. But since there are more important things than names and of course for funs sake I'll let you guess yourselfs to death Rolling Eyes

Since the band members wish to remain anonymous, I don't see the point in spreading gossip unless you are an old lady or have a personal vendetta against the band. Even in the latter case, internet gossiping would really be the homosexual way to handle it.
