To be honest, I hated all of their stuff for the longest time. I can't really say way, maybe it just got sort of played out in high school for me. Either way, I revisited them a few years back, and Altars is definitely my favorite with Blessed... and Covenant being the only other two I can really enjoy. After that their albums just start to loose their charm on me.

Formulas is my favourite. This was the first morbid angel album i ever owned, on cassette too Cool . it's just the most intense, expressive morbid angel album i think. the solos, the fucking RIFFS, the vocals, the lyrics...the complete package is there. It's also my fav because of the classic, Invocation of the Continuual One. Having that song at the end of the album makes hearing the whole tape so fucking worth it.
