I need something similar to Coven, Black Widow, something strange and dark like Jacula, and sinister/heavy like Black Sabbath...

P.S
The Devil's Blood is awesome, recommend something else Very Happy

Thanks!

Jex Thoth are influenced by that stuff but probably more towards the doom category really.

You should listen to Comus. More prog folk but still pretty cool with quite a creepy atmosphere at points. Plus the lyrics deal with folklore, necrophilia, darkness, evil so you may get a fix from there.

Aye, Roky Erickson. I'd find Roky Erickson - I Have Always Been Here Before, it's a collection of over 40 songs from his career, some 13th Floor Elevators songs, some from Roky Erickson and The Aliens and also some of the solo work.

Saw him last Thursday, incredible.

Maybe King Diamond's first band, "Black Rose"? Sounds much like Deep Purple or Uriah Heep.

You should probably check out Blood Ceremony!
http://www.myspace.com/bloodceremony
Occult Rock with sometimes also a doomy feeling + Tull'ish flute. Pretty cool stuff.

Also, Rose Kemp:
http://www.myspace.com/rosekemp
worth checking out, too. For me personally, maybe a bit too "esoteric".

Witchcraft:
http://www.myspace.com/witchcraftswe
Actually pure 60s/70s worship rock music, less occult feeling, but definitely try them!

That's all that comes to my mind right now.

Actually, Witchcraft played a pretty cool show earlier this year in London. And Graveyard from Sweden supported, completely blew me away.

This is one of my favourites from the album, bit faster than the rest but I love it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LDZlm9Orr0

This song is amazing too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wT_LMeniMWg

The album doesn't have a weak song really. It's self titled by the way.

Awesome band, and incredible live! Here's a video from the show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4d9HnygWTI

I really, really dig the first Witchcraft album (and it definitely belongs in this thread), the ones after that did nothing for me though.
